Part 2; the Elly skirt tutorial
Today has not been a very good day I just feel so under the weather. Blah literally, but any who I finally finished the skirt to the Peanut shirt, making it one complete outfit...I'll be doing a photo shoot of my girls tomorrow I made Sora this outfit and I made chloe an outfit which will be a tutorial over at sewing in no mans land... and I hope she loves it as much as I do it's the cutest outfit i've made so far I think...coming soon
here we go
here we go
start off by choosing the fabric of your choice, then you want to make it has high as you would like. I choose to make a high waisted skirt because the shirt had a little stain on it. Next I pinned the top down to make straight and even, then sew.
I took two long strips of the same fabric sewed them right sides together, leaving a gap to flip right side out...
flip right side out and iron flat
After ironing you want to line them up on equal sides of the skirt and sew right on..
done with making the skirt now on to Elly her self
Pattern
seeing I used felt for the peanuts I thought I should use it for Elly as well
embroider her on
for her ear I placed the pattern piece on top of her, then embroidered her ear...then you just rip the pattern off being careful not to pull to much on the thread..
grab a color for her eye, I picked green
Next a color for her mouth (pink)
and finally I wanted her to have water coming out of her trunk
Viola little Elly is done
Pictures we be up tomorrow of miss Sora in her new outfit...
Peace Love and Cupcakes
