Sorita Flats the Tutorial

The Sorita Flats soft sole shoe I hope you enjoy...
Inspired by my daughter Sora :)

update here is the PDF but I think it's still blurry :( sorry... this is more like 3 months if you want newborn cut about 1/4 around the pattern and then the 1/4 in seam allowance will be right on
the pattern has the seam allowance already in place...

cut your pattern pieces out then find the fabric you would like to use and cut four of each foot and top pattern pieces....I usually stack all the fabric on top pin and cut i'm sure like most of you saves time and get the job done faster...

you take two of each color of the top pattern and pin them on the inner circle kind of hard to see where the pins are (in this picture i'm showing you what they look like opposite of each other)

after you sew around you want to still keep right sides together and sew the back together. (a closer picture)

I always straight and zig zag for better durability (I like to dream that I have a serger)
Finally you want to put both the wrong sides together so the right sides are facing out you decide on which side you want to be on top just remember these are reversible shoes :) exciting...

I took the black and white print to be the inside for the moment...so I took it and pined to the right side of the fabric like so

and this is what the bottom of the shoe looks like so far then you flip the shoe over so the top is showing and take the flower print shoe pattern piece right side down and pin to the top of shoe.

make sure while you are sewing the top piece on the shoe you need to leave a gap to turn the shoe inside out

then you flip your shoe so it right side out and looks like a shoe ha

after its all  flipped right side out you want to sew up the little hole

repeat to the second show and viola you have cute little Sorita Flat shoes for any little girl in your life I love how they look, hip and will fit right in with mom :)..

Peace Love and Cupcakes

  1. Forgot to put in my post that I stuffed these shoes with batting before I sewed the hole closed because there for my niece petal and with a little batting in them they stay on better hmmm... I put them in sora shoes to because she walks around on our tile all day...lastly I added a cupcake to each shoe for a little something extra :)...
