Thread Faction SS2016 collection Blog Tour

I'm so excited to be apart of this great blog tour for Thread Faction new line of knit pdf patterns. I love every piece they've designed, they thought about what our little girls would like to wear, comfy but still fashion forward. The SS2016 collection is a combination of lounge wear, beach wear and general summer wear, it also features boxy silhouettes, racer backs, and hi-low hemlines. This collection is perfect for the everyday girl who wants to play and be a kid still.

The entire collection is available on the site www.threadfaction.com individual patterns are $8 (aud) but you can get the entire collection for $28 (aud) that is 7 patterns for a great deal.

I decided to sew up #103 and #105 from the collection I can't tell you how easy these pieces were to sew up, which is a dream when you have a crazy hectic life, you can grab a pattern and sew it up in less then 30 mins is pretty amazing.

Also all 7 of the patterns are sizes 2-10

I started with #105 the girls cropped sweater, I fist took the pattern it's self measured half way length wise and cut it half, I then grabbed my fabric and was able to make this cool look with two different fabrics. I then took a string of green sequins and sewed them on to the bottom of the sweater to just add that extra touch of me, which I love the look.

The next piece in the collection I did was #103 high waisted shorty shorts so I took the fabric I used for #105 and then made the shorty shorts out of them, I used the cuffs of the shorts out of the same fabric I just reversed the fabric (it's reversible fabric) and I put the elastic in the waist, that was it they were finished. they literally took me all of 10 mins to make them after cutting out of the fabric.

I see A LOT more in the very near future, also as gifts for all the girls in the family because these patterns are just so awesome. they're such a great starter pattern if you're not use to working with knits these are the patterns to try you will be loving knits after working with them

Also I did the wrong size for Sora that's why it look a little small so i'm going to be re doing them and i'll up load more pictures to this blog post, but I love how it looks on her even if it looks a little small.

Make sure to head over to thread Faction for the contests to enter to win all the great prizes they have lined up :D
