Sew N' Style Series: Ultimate Vanity

Ultimate Vanity

I'm so excited to be apart of the Sew N' style series by Lil Luxe, I have been wanting to push my self lately with my sewing and when I seen this I had to jump on the opportunity.  So when I was thinking of what I wanted to sew I was thinking glam from the being so that is what i did, making pieces you would want to wear if you wanted to feel really pretty if you were going to a gathering and outing or just having fun with style. I went the route of the grown up little girl seeing Chloe acts like she is 14 anyways she loved every outfit I made for her so it really worked well and turned out perfect.

My first outfit i'm SO proud of I took two patterns and reinvented them into what you see here. For the skirt I used the Modern belle dress by Lil Luxe I cut the top half of the pattern off and joined the color block pieces together I then made my of flat waist band so its joined together by a gold button with gold string. The top is the city girl top by Lil Luxe that comes with the city girl romper which both are amazing pieces I just needed the top for this piece.  I tucked the city girl top in to the re worked modern belle dress now skirt and gave her some accessories. Chloe just turned into this young lady she was completely transformed "she felt so grown up and pretty" she said in it.

The city girl top is sleeveless but I put sleeves on it I was going for 3/4 sleeves but it turned out a little bit longer so I decided to roll them up and I really love how it looks rolled up. She also got to wear some tinted lip gloss that actually looks super cute on her, she's my bug (she hates when we call her Chlo-bug she's to grown up for that) I love her so much attitude and all. She thinks she is a 14 year old but I have to remind her quite a bit she is 8 just because she skipped a grade (she should be in 3rd shes in 4th) doesn't mean you get to change how you act towards anybody or thing.

Of course I had to show of her shoes, look at those beauties they got dirty from being in the orange groves but there still so pretty.

Second outfit totally reminds me of clueless which is awesome because anyone who doesn't love clueless well where going to have to have a chat hehe. So I took pictures of this outfit in a different shirt and it just didn't go so I just reused the city girl top by Lil Luxe. I then paired it with the Perfectly Preppy skirt by Scientific Seamstress but, I cut it right down the middle made button holes and added these great gold and cream buttons I also kept the bottom of the skirt frayed for a way different look, I really like how this one turned out. I put Chloe is knee socks and she great black heels and her leather purse that she HAD to have she wears it all the time so it's a win in the end :).

All three of my children got there glasses yesterday so I thought we would use them in this photo shoot and she looks oh so cute :o)

The purse has a gold chain weaved in between the black strap so it matches with all the other gold in the outfit.

When it get's chill it's a must to have a coat hanging around and this coat is a must the Couso I was actually honored to get to test it you can see that here

The Third outfit I think it so sweet and the classic modern chic girl the top is the reversible crop top by Lil Luxe with the cardigan being the aster cardigan by Willow & Co lastly the short are the coachella shorts by Striped Swallow designs. All three of these pieces go so great together, they make the ultimate vanity look super chic and what every little girl dreams of wearing

The last look is a fun little outfit that adds pop of color to anyone's life especially a little girls. the top is TIP top tunic & dress by Petit a Petit along with the other pattern she designed the elm poncho raincoat these two pieces together were perfect. They added the fun funky side to the vanity and every one needs a fun  and funky side.

Last I had to share the cardigan I just tested from Petit a Petit it will be coming out soon but it's so cute I hand painted the narwhals on (a tutorial will be coming for that this week) I think it looks so good on Chloe :o). For Chloe's first outfit I paired it with the tank top on that was under the city girl top it was the perfect blue tank top so it looks great together with the skirt.
