Peanut's for Elly the elephant

I was going through some of my designs I've been wanting to make for awhile so the other night I came across an older drawing. I drew up a little girls shirt and skirt, and on top of the shirt I put peanuts and the bottom is an elephant "Elly" here is the first part; the shirt with peanuts...
Pattern

needle, embroider thread, felt

I chose to make three peanuts so if you want cut three out on this step I just did one at a time

I used both colors for the first peanut

grab your shirt (found mine at wal-mart for 50 cents)

Embroider your peanut to your shirt

this is how it looks with both the colors

the inside of the shirt

grab your next peanut repeat

and again

looking like this in the end. The shirt does have a little stain on it but when it's finished being made you wont be able to tell. Next post is on the hair clip I made with it, then on to making the skirt.

  1. My favorite one is the one with the 2 colors of floss together. It is like it highlights the light and shadow areas of a peanut!
